Passed away Thursday afternoon, May 10, 2007 at her home. Mary was born October 2, 1915 in Poland the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie Toczek. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church Paw Paw, the Polish Women National Alliance and the V.F.W. Auxiliary # 2532, Paw Paw. On June 9, 1935 in Poland, Mary was united in marriage to John S. Spiech who preceded her in death on October 7, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Paul and Ann Szpiech of Poland. Surviving are a son, Mike (Vivian) Spiech of Paw Paw; 3 grandchildren, Julie (Chris) Collier of Paw Paw, Jane (Jay) Clark of Decatur and Steve Spiech of Marcellus; 5 great grandchildren, Kristen and Dustin Ritsema of Paw Paw, Jared and Mitchell Clark of Decatur and Steven Spiech of Tennessee; great great grandchildren, Skylar Ritsema of Paw Paw and Haven Clark of Decatur. Family will receive friends Sunday 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held on Monday, 11 a.m. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Paw Paw. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Van Buren County Hospice. |

So sorry for your loss. Tried to get to the funeral today, but had circumstances come up that prevented it. We knew Mary for a lot of years. Blessings, Richard and Shauna Lula
