I'm the baby of the Ricketson clan and George always called me Brat. That's one of the many many memories of the him that I will hang on to forever. He was always up to a party, would always come when invited to anything, and was generous to a fault. I love ya' George - and I miss you! I hope they have your brand of beer where you are; and tell mom I said hi!!

Dear Ricketson Family, I am sorry to hear of the passing of George. He was always happy and smiling when he saw anyone. I don't think he ever met a stranger, he was so very friendly and down to earth. Please accept my condolences and know I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and in my heart too. Sincerely, Linda {Brown} Winters

My Uncle George was a great big huggable love of a man. I will miss him greatly. I can't express the gratitude and appreciation I have for him and Aunt Doris coming to my wedding in September last year. My husband was able to meet the Infamous Uncle we all loved so dearly and for that we are truly thankful. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate with them and the rest of our family...and Uncle George wore black socks even though he didn't have to. :) I know beer was off the list lately, but I'm raising a Red, White & Blue for him.

Our prayers are with the family at this time. We appreciated the welcome to the neighborhood that George extended when we first moved in. The neighborhood will be different without him. Whenever we saw George leave for a fire run we said a prayer for all involved. Tho we will be unable to attend the memorial on Saturday, our hearts will be with you. The Huss family, David, Julianne, Lydia and Camille
