We were very sadden to hear of Jack's passing. We were sorry we were unable to travel to Michigan. Jack held a very special place in Art's heart as has Jack and Shirley in all of our hearts over the years. We know that he is at peace with the Lord, His Savior. God's blessings to you during this difficult time. Know that our prayers are with you all.

Dear Shirley, Marilyn and I were very surprised and saddened to hear about Jack's passing. We knew how hard breathing was for him, but not that he could not survive any related side effects. We are very sorry that we could not attend Jack's Memorial on Monday, but our thoughts and prayers were there with you. Time was not in our favor to arrange any air. We will always carry Jack's memory in a favored place in our heart-our favorite cousin. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you in this trying time. Marilyn and Ed

Jack became an icon at Gravel Lake taking over that position when Rudy passed away. He was always cheerful, helpful to everyone and always busy working around the yard and down at the lake. I remember how much he liked high school athletics and I would often spot him in the crowd at Lawton's football games. He will be greatly missed by all of us. He was a special person. Our heartfelt sympathy to Shirley, Greg, Gary and Lori and families. Dick and Linda Barkalow

I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I was so sad when my father, Ed Valette, shared the news with me today. Jack was one of the few people who made you feel important upon meeting him and you felt he truly enjoyed talking with you. That's a special quality that not many people possess. My thoughts and prayers are with Shirley and his family.
