Passed away Monday morning, June 18, 2007 at the home of his daughter. David was born April 2, 1947 in Massillon, OH the son of Sherman R. and Ruth (Blake) McGeorge. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the infantry as a light weapons specialist. He was a machine maintenance specialist for Republic Steel in Massillon, OH until his retirement. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Eagles in Massillon, OH. Surviving are 3 daughters, Lisa McGeorge , Angie McGeorge and Amy Riegle all of Paw Paw; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters Jeanie Purdy and Bonnie Carpenter both of Massillon, OH and Sandy Marion of North Canton, OH; brother, Ernie McGeorge of Union Town, OH; many nieces and nephews; aunt Judy Meyers of Massillon, OH. There will be no visitation. A memorial service with military honors will be held Wednesday (6/20) 2 p.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, Michigan. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
