Paw Paw

Passed away Wednesday morning, June 27, 2007 at the home of her daughter. Marian was born October 10, 1927 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Bruce and Elsie (Knowles) McDaniel. She was a 1946 graduate of Paw Paw High School and a member of East Arlington Baptist Church. On January 9, 1948 in Dowagiac, MI Marian was united in marriage to Joseph H. Soule who preceded her in death on January 23, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Melvin McDaniel. Surviving are 8 children, Joseph (Sharon) Soule of Paw Paw, Gerald (Roberta) Soule of Portage, MI, Donald Soule of Orlando, FL, Nancy (Ken) Manning of Cumming, GA, Christine (Dave) Soule Underwood of Paw Paw, Linda Green of Rose City, MI, Richard (Lequetta) Soule of Bangor and Cynthia (Joel) Pyard of Paw Paw; 28 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles (Millie) McDaniel of Kalamazoo and Alan McDaniel of Paris, MI; sister, Ruth Quigg of Texas; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Monday 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

I remember Ms. Soule, but I didn't know her well, when I lived in Lawrence for a short time in the eighties. She will certainly be missed.

Linda, Sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. It has been a long time since I have seen her, but I remember staying with you on the weekends, when you lived in Lawerence.
