Passed away Saturday afternoon, July 7, 2007 at the home of her daughter. Marge was born March 6, 1915 in Bement, IL the daughter of the late David A. and Cora J. (Schumate) Redman. On June 20, 1936 in Chicago, Marge was united in marriage to Edward J. VanArkel who preceded her in death on July 7, 1981. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are 2 daughters, Joan (Charles) Ford of Paw Paw and Barbara (Tom) Droke of Crestwood, IL; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, David (Virginia) Redman of Leawood, KS; many nieces and nephews. Family will received friends Monday at the Sheehy and Sons Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights, IL (708) 361-4235 where funeral services will be held Tuesday (7/10). Interment will be in Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan, 222 N. Kalamazoo Mall, Suite 100, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
