I really didn't know him. But my heart goes out to his family. I screwed his niece once. She can tell everybody who I am.

I wanted to send my condolences to the Purdy family. My mother, Hazel Hobgood Bell, was a first cousin of Homer's. My grandmother was Myra McAfee Hobgood. I haven't seen Billy for years, at the McAfee reunions. But I remember Lantie well. She was always one of my favorite cousins.Mama has been gone for almost five years now, and I just wanted to send condolences from all my family. We are praying for you.
