Nelson and family: Having just learned of Marney's death, this memory remains vivid--Nelson and Marney audiotaped a Village Players production I was in in the Eighties. I kept that tape for years after leaving Paw Paw because it was so much fun to hear again and again Marney and Nelson laughing together, two of the most wonderful people a person could meet. Love, John

My memories of Marney are vivid and delightful. She was my student in several Paw Community Education folk guitar courses that I taught back in the 1970s. She was always well prepared and her outstanding singing talent combined with her sparkling personality energized each class she was in. Tina joins me in sending condolences to the family but I am sure that Marney is already a member of the angelic choir and has just signed up for lessons to learn to play a heavenly harp.

To Nelson and family: We join you with loving thoughts of Marney. Terry remembers with great fondness having taken guitar lessons with her back in the seventies. A smiling, laughing woman who was a joy with whom to learn to play the guitar he says.
