Della Mae Martha Dillenbeck Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2007 Age: 83 DILLENBECK, Della Mae Martha Paw Paw Went to be with The Lord on Thursday, July 26, 2007 in her home in Paw Paw. Della was born August 26, 1923. She retired from Lakeview Community Hospital, where she worked as a Ward Clerk. She was united in marriage to James B. Dillenbeck on May 2, 1947. There will be a service to honor her life at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday, July 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Whittaker officiating. Della was preceded in death by her parents. George and Ella (Lindermann) Guritz; 3 brothers, Arthur, Melvin and Earl Guritz. Surviving are a sister, Anna VanDenBerg; brother, George Guritz and as her long-time friend and companion, Boyd Wells. She is also survived by her daughters, Kathy Dodson and Karen Hertz; her sons, Jim and Joe Dillenbeck; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emma, Seth, Sarah and Joey. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Van Buren County.

I worked with Della at Lakeview hospital and was her friend long after I moved on. She was a class act and one tough cookie. I feel my life was enriched to have been able to know her. My prayers go out to her friends and family. Linda Winters (Virden, IL)
