Robert H. Palmer Sr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1916 - 2007 Age: 91 PALMER, Robert H. Sr. M-40 Highway Paw Paw Passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 at his home. Robert was born October 10, 1916 in Carlisle, PA the son of the late Ira and Rosa (Mellott) Palmer. He was a foundry worker for many years and worked as a maintenance man at Lakeview Community Hospital until his retirement. On June 24, 1939 in Oshtemo, Robert was united in marriage to Barbara Anne Wilder who preceded him in death on Aug. 31, 2004. He was also preceded in death by a great grandson Alex. Surviving are a son, Robert Palmer Jr. of Paw Paw; daughter, Phyllis (Robert) Kelley of Paw Paw; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Helen Shanahan of Lawton; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or service. Interment of cremains will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan. Memorial contributions may be made to SIDS Disease.
