Carol passed away Friday afternoon, January 18, 2008 at her home after a long illness. Carol was born January 27, 1949 in Williamsport, IN the daughter of Allen and Jessie (Farley) Brink. She was a 1967 graduate of Manzano High School in Albuquerque, NM. Carol was an excellent silver smith and loved sewing, gardening, and most of all loved her grandchildren. On March 27, 1998 in Hartford, MI Carol was united in marriage to Larry Skip Hall who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Valerie Forrest of Saugatuck, MI, Edward Finley of Albuquerque, NM, and Crystal Forrest of Grand Junction, MI; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; parents, Allen and Jessie Brink of Bangor; brother, Lynn (Nellie) Brink of Grand Haven; 2 sisters, Cora Thomas of Rio Rancho, NM and Clo Hubbard of Niles, MI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Brink. Family will receive friends Monday evening 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning 10 to 11 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a memorial service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice, Allegan.

I met Carol in the mid 90's, and we became friends. Carol & I liked to exchange quilting patterns, fabric and ideas. She was a very pleasant person to know, and I will miss her. My prayers are with her husband, Skip, and her children. God speed.
