Marguerite passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 2, 2008 at her home. She was born November 25, 1925 in Topsham, Maine the daughter of the late George and Clara Bean. After her retirement in Maine, Marguerite moved to Michigan to be with her daughter in 1987. She was a member of the Eagles and the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Portland Maine. She loved to watch wrestling, play bingo and an occasional visit to the casino in Indiana. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (William) Scarbrough of Mattawan; 4 grandchildren, Scott (Ilene) Harmon of Royal Oak, MI, Todd Harmon, Shelli (Michael) Brugh and Chad (Lisa Long) DeLorenzo all of Mattawan; great grandchildren, Evan, Matthew, Jade, Briana and Tyler; brother, Harold W. Bean Sr. of Limington, ME; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends in Michigan and Maine. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lena Wentworth and 2 brothers, George Bean Jr. and Ernest Bean. A memorial service will be held Friday (Feb 8) 11 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
