Anna passed away Friday morning, March 7, 2008 at her home. She was born Feb. 25, 1915 in Pinconning, MI the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kachel) Pieknik. Anna moved to Mattawan in November of 2004 from Oak Park, MI and was a member of Our Lady of Lasalette in Berkley, MI. She was a member of St. John Bosco Church, Mattawan, loved gardening and shopping, especially for bargains. On Aug. 21, 1948 in Detroit Anna was united in marriage to John Lesiak who preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1983. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dr. Dennis Lesiak on Oct. 25, 2006; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving are a daughter, Paula (Mark) Kovalsky of Britton, MI; grandchildren, Kathryn Kovalsky of Stuart, FL, Brian Kovalsky of Britton, MI, Laura Lesiak and Jonathan Lesiak of Mattawan; daughter-in-law, Patricia Lesiak of Mattawan. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 11 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.

Paula & Family, Darcy and I were very saddened to here of our Aunts passing. We live in Northern Michigan and were unable to attend in person, but our prays and thoughts continue. Love
