Helen passed away Saturday morning, March 15, 2008 at Bronson Rehab and Nursing Center in Lawton. She was born Dec. 24, 1928 in Paw Paw the daughter of the late Donald C. and Frances (Mearing/Duart) Sirrine. On April 27, 1947 in Paw Paw Helen was united in marriage to John B. Moon who preceded her in death on December 6, 1996. She was also preceded in death by a son, J. Thomas Moon on March 18, 1996. 3 brothers, Art, Jack and Bill Sirrine. Surviving are 2 sons, Charles Moon and Robert (Linda) Moon both of Paw Paw; 3 daughters, Phyllis (Ernie) Smith and Barbara Jean (Dave) Samples both of Paw Paw, Rosemary (Larry) Johnson of Glendale; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Don Sirrine of Lawton; 3 sisters, Ann (Joe) Good of Lawton, Polly Gillette of Decatur, and Pat (Henry) Stanfill of Lawton; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. with Pastor Brian Stanek officiating. Interment to follow in Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
