For our family this is a great loss. We have had the privilege of being part of her extended family. Rose taught me a child how to knit, crochet and play solitaire (with cards). Rose & George also opened their home in Florida to Larry & I for many years of Thanksgiving vacations. In Florida she taught us to appreciate the beauty of the sea and it's wild life. George taught us to fish (for Rose's dinner). We still return to Madeira Beach as our favorite vacation destination. I will cherish the memories for the rest of my life. May you rest in peace Rose, goodness know you deserve it. When we meet again, we will enjoy a glass of wine together.
P.S. Don't let George give you a "Wet Willy".

I wish the family of Rose our deepest sympathy. We understand how it is to lose a parent to such a terrible disease. It is hard to not have that parent around however Rose is in peace now.
Sometimes we forget how short life is. Howard and I wish the family of Rose the very best during their time of loss.

Grandma you will never know how much I will miss you everyday. I know you are at peace now and with Grandpa. He has been running around up there for all of these years without you that you are going to have your hands full getting him back in line. You have meant the world to us and we will love you and miss you forever. The one thing that I will reget is that I never learned how to quilt from you but I am going to learn and I will pass your love for sewing on. As Bobby said there is nothing more bueatiful in this world than a Rose.

Oh Rosie-I will miss you so much, I might have been your hairdresser for years, but we became friends that sewed together, ate together, and the best part was that we were so close we could bitch together like we were sisters! I hope you know how much you have meant to me and my family these past years, may you rest in peace Rosie and hopefully one day we will meet again to do our complaining and fix your hair that will never leave you!
