Kathryn passed away Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2008 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born February 11, 1938 in Evanston, IL the daughter of the late Ralph and Jeanne (Ransom) Kofoed. She was a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. On June 24, 1960 in Phoenix, AZ Kathryn was united in marriage to Allen J. Vornsand who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Steven (Dory) Vornsand of Lake In The Hills, IL, William (Jill Burkhardt) Vornsand of San Diego, CA and James (Jill) Vornsand of Grafton, WI; 6 grandchildren; brother, Peter Kofoed; 3 sisters, Ann Penn, Nancy Gomes and Margaret Pearson; several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at a later date with interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to the American cancer Society, 5110 S. Sprinkle Road, Portage, MI 49002. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw
