Lucy passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 11, 2008 at Tendercare of Kalamazoo. She was born November 10, 1912 in Reading, MN the daughter of the late John and Rose (Hagen) Guiter. She was employed by the Lawton A&P Store, was a teller at the First National Bank of Lawton and worked for the Village of Lawton. Lucy was a life long member of the Paw Paw-Lawton Chapter #257 Order of the Eastern Star and St. Pauls United Methodist Church. She enjoyed puzzles, weekly bowling leagues, and playing cards with many close friends. Being a grandmother was very special to her and she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. On November 23, 1932 in South Bend, IN Lucy was united in marriage to Roy C. Noble who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lloyd and Kenneth Guiter and a sister, Alice Whiteley. Surviving are a son, Douglas Roy (Jackie) Noble of Marcellus; beloved grandchildren, Douglas (Peggy) Noble Jr. of Lawton, Dawn (Jason) Jarrett of Portage and Debra Noble of Minnetonka, MN; great grandchildren, Dustin Roy Noble, Adriana Jo and Arlie Rose Jarrett; brother, Dwayne (Marian) Guiter of Paw Paw; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice, Kalamazoo.
