Eugenia passed away Tuesday evening, July 15, 2008 at Bronson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lawton. She was born July 30, 1917 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Peter and Katrina (Rumbutis) Wirksus and moved to Michigan in 1932. She was a member of St. Marys Church, Paw Paw. On August 14, 1942 in Fort Lewis, WA, Eugenia was united in marriage to Harold E. Schrump who survives. Also surviving are 4 daughters, Jeanne K. Pannone of Pensacola, FL, Linda Chmielarz of Wheaton, IL, Debra (Ron) Haney of GA and Pamela Anderson of Wyoming, MI; son, James W. (Robin) Schrump of Kalamazoo, MI; 11 grandchildren, Shelly (Mike) Hutzenburger, Doug (Rosetta) Pannone, Steve (Denise) Haney, Sarah Haney, Kerrie Anderson, Karen (Joe) Benson, Salina and Hayley Schrump, Jackie and Mitch Chmielarz, and Amber Carroll; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Soneral of Ludington, MI; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Tuesday 11:30 a.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.

Our family was very lucky to have had the Mother we had for so many years, until she had a brain aneurism. She gave us many educational opportunities that we were fortunate to be exposed to. I've missed that part of Mom for the past 14 years. Love you Mom, Debbie
