Judy, Don, Dan and Sheryl - What a kind, fun-loving and gentle man Don was. His smile and grin will forever be held as a fond memory. Lawton has lost a great man, husband and father. I am deeply saddened for the loss of Don, for your pain/sorrow and pray you are able to find some peace with each other and friends. Don left everyone who knew him a better person. He will be missed.

I am so thankful that we had our 50th reunion recently and was able to spend some time with Don. Due to the dispersing of the class of '58, I did not have much contact with him since high school. His humor and enthusiasm was always enjoyed by our class members. Hi will be misssed greatly. We pray for comfort and strength for the family.

To my father law,a man of wisdom, courage, and a role model for all. I will miss the twinkle in your eyes and that big smile at the site of your granddaughters. They miss you terribly and they want you to come home.
You welcomed me into your family and I couldn't have picked a better one. I see so much of you in both your boys. I will miss. Please, when you see my mom give her a hug and kiss for me. Don't worry about Judy we all will take good care of her. Love, Sheryl

We are sorry to hear of your sudden loss. We never knew his nickname was goofy. We had to smile. We'll always remember Don and how his feet would hang over the edge of the exam table. We would pick on him that he was too tall. He would pick right back and say that our tables were too short :) He was a giant of a man with a kind and gentle soul. God bless and find comfort in His love. Love, Stephanie, Debbie, and Dr. Kawamura

Don II and family:
You know that I know the tremendous pain that you are feeling at this time. I am thinking of you all - it seems every minute! I know that there are no words to take the pain from you - only time. This has been the year of all years. Our good lord must be lonely. I didn't know your mom and dad as well as I would have liked to have known them Don, but I knew them well enough to know that they are wonderfully kind people. We thought the world of your dad and always were amazed at the cloning that seemed to have taken place between you and your dad. Sharon and I just saw Don and Judy at a restaurant and we said hi. Your dad looked like a million bucks. I know he will be missed terribly, but the love goes on forever.
Sharon and I extend our deepest sympathy to you all.

We had so much fun over the years being involved in sports. You laughed at Don and I when we were younger being so competitive in everything we did. I have always respected you in supporting your family and have always looked up to you. I will miss you. Kevin
