Ive only known Aris a short time as my friend, although she has been my mother-in-laws (Jean Obreiter) best friend for many, many years. Ive heard about the many fun and crazy times theyve had through the years. Maybe thats part of why I took to her so quickly, but I can honestly say, one of the nicest gifts Ive ever received was Ariss love and friendship. I believe God blessed us both when he let our paths cross, even for just a short time.
I wish Id known her longer, but I will never forget her. Im really going to miss her gift of gab (she was very easy to talk to), her sense of humor, smile, laugh and that occasional devilish look in her eyes, but I thank God for the talks, laughs and fun we had. I wouldnt trade those few months for anything in the world. There is a saying that truly speaks of Aris . . . to know her is to love her.
My love and prayers are with her family as you all go through the grief process. Pete and Deb, thank you so much for letting me be there with Aris during the times that are rightfully meant for family only.
God bless you all. . . Love, Gloria
