Roy passed away suddenly at his home Monday, September 30, 2008. He was born February 25, 1945 in Lafollette, TN, the son of Lee Suttles and Mae Evans. Roy loved to fish, enjoyed working puzzles and was a fan of cowboy movies. He is survived by a son, Roy Evans of Paw Paw; 2 daughters, Tammy (Roy) Barnett of Battle Creek and Misty Evans of Paw Paw; 8 grandchildren: Samantha and Savannah Evans, Brittany and Hunter Barnett, Meghan, Holleman, Vikki, and Madison Herring; his mother, Mae Cooper of Lafollett, TN; 3 sisters; 2 brothers, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, a daughter, Mindy, and a brother, Dave. Cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Cancer Center.
