McAuliffe, Edward J., Jr.
Lawrence
Edward passed away Friday morning, Nov. 21, 2008 at his home. He was born July 26, 1940 in Chicago, IL the son of late Edward and Margaret (Farrell) McAuliffe. He was employed as a Chicago Policeman for 16 years and then 20 years as a maintenance man for the Lawrence Public Schools. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Paw Paw, and the Hartford Sportsman Club and was an avid sports fan. On November 25, 1961 in Chicago Edward was united in marriage to Darlene Polich who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Cindy (David) DeLoach of Lawrence, Edward J. (Kristy) McAuliffe of Corbin, KY and Patricia (Troy) Zimmerlee of Lawrence; grandchildren, Bradley and Marc Williams, Jessica, Blake and David DeLoach, Kyle, Haley and Kenzie McAuliffe; brother, Bernard McAuliffe, and a special cousin, Michael Sheeran with whom Ed shared his home with. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elin Mary McAuliffe. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home,. Paw Paw. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, (Nov. 26), 12 noon at St. Marys Catholic Church, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marys Catholic Church, Paw Paw.

Ed will be truly missed. We will never forget the fun we all used to have bowling! My Dad, M.J. Conklin, really enjoyed working with Ed, hopefully they will see each other in Heaven! I also loved working with Ed, he always brightened my day. All our best to the family. Steve and Janice
