Betty passed away Saturday morning, Dec. 13, 2008 at Bronson Nursing and Rehab. Center in Lawton. Betty was born August 9, 1920 in Mishawaka, IN the daughter of the late Raymond and Genevieve (Dunlap) Allen. She loved playing, bingo, fishing, had a good sense of humor and loved singing. In Rochester, Indiana in 1937, Betty was united in marriage to Howard E. Springman who preceded her in death on November 6, 2003. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carole J. Crane and a sister, Lorraine Hirsch. Surviving are 2 sons, Fred (the late Kazumi) Springman of Mishawaka, IN and Curtis (Shirley) Springman of Springfield, TN; 2 daughters, Linda (Edward) Jors of Indianapolis, IN and Renea (David) Cotnoir of Paw Paw; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 7 great great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Private family services were held at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw with interment following in Chamberlain Cemetery, Lawton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.
