Of Paw Paw
Tim passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. He was born January 15, 1954 in Kalamazoo, the son of John H. and Joann (Johnson) Ruess. He was a salesman at Ellis Sales in Kalamazoo and a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Paw Paw. Surviving are 2 sons, Dillon and Connor Ruess, both of Paw Paw; his father, John Ruess of Florida; his mother, Joann Letkiewicz of Lawton; a brother, Craig (Jean) Ruess of Palo Alto, CA; a sister, Scott (Alvin) Jagutis of Monroe, MI; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Paw Paw. Memorial contributions in Tims memory may be directed to the family.

It has been many years since I have seen Tim, but I remember him well and his sense of humor. I worked in the parts dept. at Ellis Sales and saw him on a daily basis for many years. I'm sure he will be missed by all those who loved him.

My deepest condolences to Tim's family at this difficult time. I was 1972 High School classmate of Tim & have fond memories. He was a fun-loving soul and usually with a quick smile & hello. Again, I am sorry to hear about your loss.
