My name is Ruby and I am writing to let all of Gails loved ones know how very special she was to me. We are the same age. I met her while going to Central High School in Kalamazoo. We became best friends on the day I met her. It would take too long to go through all of the joy she and the rest of "OUR GANG" had when we were young. I moved to San Diego California in 1957, which is where I still reside. I had not seen Gail for about 25 years when she wrote to me to say that she and Donna Weaver were going to Las Vegas and wanted me to meet them there. She knew that I live just 6 hours away. She said they would meet me at the coffee shop in Harrahs Hotel at a certain time. I got there early because I did not think I would recognize Gail or Donna. I went into the Ladys Room to comb my hair and I heard a voice coming out of one of the stalls saying...Hey Donna, do you think we will recognize Ruby? What a joy when they came out and saw me standing there. To me, Gail looked just like she did when we were 15. She was a wonderful person and I know that she is with the Lord. Praise His name. My prayers are with all of Gails loved ones.

My grandmother was an incredibly generous and genuine lady full of life and love. Never to busy to lend a hand, an ear, or shoulder. Her incredible life has set an example that we all aspire to. Her warmth, kindness and unparalleled courage made her so dear to everyone she met; there is no doubt her spirit will live on in each of us. It has been a long and arduous journey for our family a true test of our strength and ability to come together. We were able to navigate these tough times with help from Hospice and M-staff. To Our Angles; Ginger, Joanne, Amber, Lora, Vicki, Jennifer, Peggy Sue, Karen, Elizabeth, Jackie, Dawn, and Dr. Woodhams our gratitude for your assistance and guidance would be mitigated by words. We are all in your debt and forever grateful. To My Mother Jody My love and respect for all that you have done. Your strength and unfaltering dedication gave her the most precious gift&. comfort in her darkest hours, and the will to keep fighting. In her words You did a great job. Hold that memory in your heart. Find solace knowing she was so grateful for your infinite love and care. To My Grandfather; your devotion is admirable, your resilience and faith is commendable. Youve faced challenges and changes that would have broke the strongest of spirits. It is your strength that keeps each of us going. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal

We will never forget the trips to Australia with Bill and Gail. What fun we had and the wonderful memories we made together. We will miss her so much, especially going out to eat and enjoying some good wine and laughs together. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill, love you.
