I remember Mrs. Crawford from when I was a student at Lawton Middle School. She was always such a sweet and kind person, who was ALWAYS smiling. It was evident that she honestly loved working with children. She will be missed.

I first met Norma at Markham Lutheran Church. She was leading the opening for the Womans Guild meeting. Norma was always warm, friendly and christian in her actions. She was truly a wonderful person to know.

What a beautiful and natural picture of Norma, with a smile that would melt your heart! She was a beautiful person, inside and out.
We remember the first time we met her. We went out to her home to clean up her flower bed and do some trimming, as a fund raiser for Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Mattawan (a mission church of Trinity). It was love at first visit for both of us. From that first meeting, she has held a special place in our hearts. She always had a smile and a hug.
She will be greatly missed, but she is completely healed and in the presence of her Savior.
We like Pastor Mark's comment in regard to the statement, "I am sorry for your loss". Norma is not lost, she has just changed her address to a much better place.
Blessings,
Tom and Doris Bell

I want all of you to know how sorry I was to hear of your mother's death. I am so gald that I stopped to see her on Thanksgiving morning while visiting my daughter in Kalamazoo. However, she did not know me,and it was so sad for me to see her this way.
I am so happy you chose to use that wonderful picture of her in this obituary. That picture protrays your mother 100%. She truly was a very positive and upbeat person--even in difficult times. She always tried to see the "glass half full".
Within the first month after I was hired in Lawton and given a huge job to do--I knew I needed help. I told Mr. Prately and Dr. Bandlow they needed to find me and aide asap to do all they were expecting to improve reading scores. Within a very short time they found me the perfect person. We worked together 15 years, and I can say without a doubt, I couldn't have done it without her. She also made such a difference in the lives of the children she worked with, and was a tremendous asset to the me and the Lawton Public Schools. Her strong Christian values is another thing I so appreciated. We have lost a jewel I shall never forget.
At this difficult time, please know that I'm holding all of you in prayer. I wish I could be with you tomorrow, but it is not to be.
Love to all,
Doris Bernlohr
