Phyllis passed away Thursday evening, February 12, 2009 at her home. She was born June 2, 1931 in Chicago, the daughter of Joseph and Petronella (Wachowski) Soltysinski. She was an employee of Duo Tang in Paw Paw, retiring in 1994. She is survived by 3 sisters, Delphine Kieltyka, Valentine Soltysinski and Esther Nolan, all of Paw Paw; a brother, Henry Soltysinski of Chicago; her dear friend Rose Kafka of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Edwin and Walter, and brother-in-law, Joseph Nolan. Family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Marys Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Stanley Witek, celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorials may be directed to St. Marys Catholic Church, the American Heart Association or Bronson LakeView Home Care.
