Grace passed away Tuesday evening, March 3, 2009 at her home in Portage. She was born December 9, 1906 in Harbor Springs, MI the daughter of the late George C. and Alice A. (Sturgis) Clark. She was a nurse for Dr. Charles TenHouten until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of the Paw Paw United Methodist Church, Bronson Hospital Alumni Association, Michigan Nursing Association and the Van Buren County Medical Assistants Association. While living in Haines City, FL, she was a member of the Ridge Manor Association and the First United Methodist Church. In 1933 she was united in marriage for 45 years to Harold P. Huey who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Keith Huey and a daughter, Marian M. Brinkert; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. On Nov. 3, 1980 in Saline, MI Grace was united in marriage to Kermit Floyd Crocker who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Lois (Wayne) Perrino of Paw Paw; step-daughter, Susan (John) Feather of KY; step-son, Steven E. Crocker of East Lansing, MI; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Mary Huey; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday (3/8) from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow. Interment will be in Wildey Cemetery Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paw Paw United Methodist Church or Hospice of Southwest Michigan. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home.
