Harry will be missed. I first met him when he started coming into Rider's Hobby Shop many years ago. He was very interested in things that went fast and he loved to tinker - a great combination for the r/c hobbiest. I later found out that he was very much into racing in his younger years and had many fond memories. Sometimes I could get him to tell me of some of his experences which I found very interesting. I made a few trips out to his house in those years and even ran my r/c cars on his homemade track - we had very different styles of driving those cars - he would stand in the middle of the track and go as fast as he could. I would stand on the side and hope that he would turn his head fast enough to keep up with the cars so he could avoid hitting me! Some times I just stopped to say hi. I have always kept him in my thoughts even though I had not seen him in years. He very much loved his family and the animals that he raised over the years.

Years ago Harry gave me a plaque with one of his favorite quotations: On Work "Fall in love with what you do for a living. It's nice to get out of bed and do something that you're going to love. It's better to be a failure at something you love that a success at something you don't.

Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain, God hath not promised We shall not know Toil and temptation, Trouble and woe, He hath not told us, we shall not bear Many a burden, Many a care, God hath not promised Smooth roads and wide, Swift, easy travel, Needing no guide, Never a mountain, Rocky and steep, Never a river, Turbid and deep. But God hath promised Strenght for the day, Rest for thelabor, Light for theway, Grace for the trial's, Help for the above, Unfalling sympathy, Undying Love.
