Diana passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at her home. She was born February 17, 1966 in Tawases Pass, Texas the daughter of James and Betty (Brookshire) Behrens. Diana loved to write poetry and bowling. On December 22, 1990 in Leola, South Dakota, Diana was united in marriage to Wesley D. Tschappat who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Alexis May of Coldwater, grandchildren, Patty, Christian and Skyler; brother, Chris Behrens; 2 sisters, Tina and Susie; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Paw Paw Eagles at a later date. Interment services wil take place in Leola, South Dakota. Diana was a great grandmother! She and I used to sit and watch Casper the Friendly Ghost, color, and our favorite board game we played together was Trouble! It is always hard to say goodbye to the ones you love, but she is in a better place now! I still have my memories of her and as long as I remember her love in my heart it will all be okay! I love you Nana and may you rest in peace! I will always miss you, but that is part of what comes with losing a loved one! I also want to say thank you to all of the people who were there to support my family after the great loss! I really appreciate it! My Nana will always be looking down on me and making sure I am okay!
