Floyd passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Wynwood of Portage. He was born August 19, 1909 in Calumet, the son of William and Jane (Bennets) Crocker. He was a grocery manager at Hardings in Watervliet and Hartford, retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church in Watervliet and was a member of Haines City Methodist Church, Haines City, FL.
In 1940 in Watervliet, Floyd was united in marriage to the former Mary McNitt who preceded him in death in 1967. On November 3, 1980, he married Grace Clark who preceded him in death in March, 2009. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, a step-son and a step-daughter. He is survived by two children, Susan (John) Feather of Lancaster, KY and Steven Crocker of Lansing; a step-daughter, Lois (Wayne) Perrino of Paw Paw; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Watervliet Cemetery, Hospice Chaplain Elizabeth Code officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Arrangements by Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
