Erma passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 27, 2009 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born January 21, 1922 in Constantine, MI the daughter of the late Silvanus and Elma (Boyer) Reinoehl. She was clerk for Hardings Market for many years and later work in the food service department t of W.M.U., Kalamazoo. She was member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Lawton, Lotus Lily O.E.S. in Schoolcraft, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary # 2303 in Three Rivers, the American Legion, Wiley Koon Auxiliary # 475 in Schoolcraft and the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Decatur. Erma loved gardening, making afghans, fishing and was a good loving mother and grandmother. On Nov. 23, 1940 Erma was united in marriage to Wayne F. Pepperman who preceded her in death in 1959. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Willard Jay Reinoehl and a sister, Esther Horn. On Nov. 10, 1960 in Mendon, Erma was united in marriage to Charles W. Martin who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Waneta Sue (Joe) Truckey of Three Rivers; son, Wayne J. (Mary Peterson) Pepperman of Schoolcraft; 4 grandchildren, Michael (Myra) Mohney, Douglas (Keleigh) Mohney, and Dawn (Troy) Cafaro; Jimmy (Jen) Patmalmieks; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Thelma Harrison of Schoolcraft; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Saturday 11 a.m. with Rev. Dan Biteman officiating. Interment will follow in Morepark Road Cemetery, Schoolcraft. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.

Wayne and Waneta, Ty just learned of Erma's passing. I am so sincerly sorry for your loss. She was an incredible woman and we loved her very much.
