BURMESTER, Madonna
Paw Paw
Madonna passed away Saturday afternoon, October 3, 2009 at the home of her son. She was born September 5, 1934 in Oelwein, Iowa the daughter of late Theodore and Josephine (Kelly) Meissen. She was employed at EPC in Mattawan until her retirement 1998. On Nov. 28, 1959 in Sumner, Iowa Madonna was united in marriage to William P. Burmester who preceded her in death on May 25, 2008. Surviving are a son, William P. (Catherine) Burmester of Paw Paw; 4 daughters, Elizabeth (Jimmie) Blacker of Lawrence, MI, Mary (Pat) Barnhart of Kalamazoo, Barb Burmester of Paw Paw and Donna (Ricky) McCartney of Gobles; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. There will be no services as cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends Saturday, October 10, 2009, beginning at 1 p.m. at the home of her son, Patrick on 42540 56th Avenue, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. |
