 Funeral services for Ramon Llanes, III, of Fred will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Fred under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm Monday at the church.
Mr. Llanes died May 29, 2009 in Fred.
Ramon was born in Lima, Ohio and was a long time resident of Fred. He was a sophomore at Warren High School where he was involved in many different sports. He was very outgoing and friendly. He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Survivors include his parents Ramon Llanes, Jr. and Cynthia Llanes both of Fred; sisters Sonia Llanes and Selena Llanes both of Fred; niece Emmalina Llanes of Fred; grandmothers Aurora Rico of Fred and Adelina Zuniga of Houston and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. He loved everyone and was especially close to Carlos Llanes, Jr., Miguel Llanes, Xavier Chavarria and Gabby Chavarria.

Happy Birthday, Boy. I love and miss you more than you can imagine. I wish I was with everyone in Warren today. No one in Colmesneil understands why I randomly started cryin' in class today. It's still hard to believe you're gone. I wish we could've went for one last ride in your truck and argued about what to listen to. (: I miss you. So, so very much. Happy Birthday, I know it'll be a good one for you up there <3

I Love you "Boy" and couldn't have asked for a better brother. You are my best friend, you are greatly missed by each and every one who knew you. I never imagined anything like this happening to us. And living life with out you is the worst feeling anyone can have! Only God knows why it was your time and even with you gone from our site, you have changed soo many peoples lives! This still feels like a terrible dream I can't wake up from! Every thing happens for a reason, and i believe your reason was to make a difference in every one you knew's lives and make them better people. I've so many of them who've changed already. And i know that mom's pregnancy is a blessing, not to replace you because no one can!! No matter how hard they try. We need the comfort. And i know that when mom has her beautiful baby girl even she will love and miss the fact that she isn't to have met her only loving, handsome, funny, outgoing, kind, amazing, caring, sweet, tremondous brother we know! I know that Ramon is in heaven looking down on all of us now.We all have special memories of Ramon to hold on to until we see him again. I will always remember the good times all the boys had in little league. We all have been blessed by Ramon in some way. I am greatful that he was a friend to both Brandon and Trace.
