Funeral service for Herbert W. Gore, 74, of Silsbee will be 10 am Tuesday, July 14, 2009 with interment to follow at Cunningham cemetery. Visitation will begin 5 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Gore died Saturday July 11, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Mr. Gore served as a Master Sergeant U.S. Army in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars where he then retired after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Gore; daughter Barbara Sharp of Silsbee; two sons, Johnnie H. Gore and Tony Gore both of Silsbee; brother Simon Gore of Tennessee; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
