Richard J. Rogers Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1933 - 2009 Funeral services for Richard J. Rogers, 76 , of Silsbee will be 8:00 am Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Farmer Funeral Home with internment following in Bishop Cemetery in Lipan, TX at 6 pm. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Rogers died Thursday July 22, 2009 at his residence in Silsbee. A native of Osceola, TX, he was a longtime resident of Silsbee. Mr. Rogers was a retired machinist for Santa Fe Railroad and a Korean War veteran of the US Army. Survivors include his son Richard J. Rogers II of Silsbee; daughters Sue Blaylock of Mineral Wells, Lori Rich of Mansfield and Becky Sinequfield of Conroe; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

I waited on Mr. Rodgers all the time at the bank. He was such a nice man once I got to know him. I will truley miss him.
