I was in shock when I received the news of Kaylie yesterday. When I was living in South East Texas, I enjoyed going up to Kaylie's Salon and visiting with her and the other girls. My good friend Sylvia worked with her. That is how I came to know her. What a joy it was to be around her. She was another person that tried to encourage me to go after my cosmetology lisc. I am feeling so much hurt and pain for you all and especially her daughter - Shaelyn. May God bless you all and I will definately keep you all in my prayers. Love to you all, Jennifer

ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO KAYLIE!!!!! I BROKE DOWN CRYING BECAUSE NOT ONLY WERE KAYLIE AND I GOOD FRIENDS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND COSMETOLOGY SCHOOL, I WILL NEVER SEE HER IN THIS LIFE AGAIN. I STILL CARRY THE WEIGHT ON MY SHOULDERS PLUS FAMILY GET TOGETHERS I HAVE TOTALLY SHUNNED BECAUSE OF IT BRINGS BACK SO MUCH PAIN!!!! Funeral services for Kaylie Sue Whatley, 30, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Daniels Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
