Mrs. Mary Ellen Jarboe Couch, age 86, of 112 Hamilton Way, Bremen passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2003. Mrs. Couch was born in New Orleans, LA on March 4, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Jarboe and the late Mrs. Nellie Ellen Howard Jarboe. Mrs. Couch was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Joseph Couch, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Ms. Jane Mary Long of Atlanta; and one son, Mr. Joseph R. Couch of Bremen; one grandchild, Miss Christie Couch; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Father Paul Williams and Minister Tom Howard officiating. Music will be rendered by Minister Tom Howard. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremen with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Benny Akin, Dan Colburn, Bobby Gentry, Stacey Stillwell, Fletcher Yearty, and Roy Yearty, Jr.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
