Mrs. Troffice Gladden Boles, age 88, of 86 Harrison Rd., Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, September 30, 2004. Mrs. Boles was born in Haralson County on November 15, 1915. She was the daughter of the late Mr. A.P. Gladden and the late Mrs. Ethel Belle Sewell Gladden. Mrs. Gladden was a housewife. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Arthur Edward Boles, M.D.; sisters, Orvetta Gladden, Geneva Bergerson, and Melba Remington; brother, Byron Gladden; and a nephew, Barry Gladden.
Survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Eugene and Lola Gladden of Tallapoosa, L.C. Gladden of Tallapoosa, and Terry and Peggy Gladden of Saint Augustine, FL; eight nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 3, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Elder Homer Benefield officiating. Music will be rendered by Karen Boling and Eddie Hulsey. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Dale Gladden, Jason Baggett, Devan Robinson, Wade Gladden, Dewane Baggett, and Adam Ridley.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
