Ms. Donna Lou Jordan Clarke, age 76, of Buchanan passed away Sunday, January 9, 2005. Ms. Clarke was born in Boone County, WV on February 15, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Walter Jordan and the late Jessie Cook Jordan. Mrs. Clarke was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Daniel J. Clarke, Richard B. Clarke, and Billy Clarke; and one brother, Walter Jordan, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Annette Pike of Buchanan; three sisters, Karen Beatty of Jasper, AL, Elizabeth Tubbs of Oakman, AL, and Patti Fonseca of Houma, LA; one sister-in-law, Elleen Jordan of Buchanan; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Pastoer Sam Ball officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Brandon Pike, Wayne Wood, Ricky Johnson, Richard Smith, Brian Walker, Ricky Smith. Honoray pallbearers will be employees of Countryside Health Center.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
