 Keith W. Carter was born August 20, 1957 in Huntington, West Virginia, the forth child born to Abner and Geraldine Carter. He departed this life Tuesday, December 7, in Piketon, Ohio following an extended illness. He received his early education in the Cabell County School system and later attended Marshall University where he was taking courses to become a Paralegal. He was preceded in death by his father Abner, and brothers Bernard and Buster. Keith was a member of Young Chapel AME Church, were he was a former Sunday School Teacher. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: His loving mother, Geraldine Carter. Daughter Latasha Byrd. Two Sisters; Ruth Banks and Diane (Joe) Bailey, all of Huntington. Brother; Leonard (Val) Carter, Columbus, Ohio. A Loving grandson; Warren Savon Byrd, of Huntington. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday, December 13, 2004 at Young Chapel AME Church, Huntington, WV. with Pastor Samuel Chambers, officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Friends may call from Noon until the time of the service at the church.
