David Franklin Jackson 61was born on August 7, 1944 in Rockbridge County, Lexington, Virginia to the late Geraldine Bertha Jackson and James Estoll Jackson. He was seven years old when the family moved to Huntington, WV in 1951. He was a student at Barnett Elementary and Douglas High School. David was a former Marine and served his country during the Viet Nam Era. Also, he was a residential citizen of Knoxville Tennessee and lived with his beloved friend, Olivia Williams. On May 28, 2006, David peacefully closed his eyes to rest safely in the arms of Jesus our Lord. His parents Geraldine and James, sisters Margaret Parrish and Alice Cabell, preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories; his beloved brothers, James E. Jackson of Columbus, Ohio and Benjamin G. Jackson (Louise) of San Antonio, Texas. His beloved sons and daughter; Kenneth Hill (Yvonne), Justin Loar (Julvonne) and Natalie Loar. Seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, friends and family who loved him and will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be 12:00noon Staurday, June 3, 2006 at Callender Funeral Home, with the Reverend Roy E. Terry, Officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
