Herbert Hoover Hatfield 74 of Route 2 Fort Gay, West Virginia passed away Sunday March 2, 2003 following a brief illness.
Hoover was born September 3, 1928 the son of the late Landon and Elsie Jackson Hatfield. He was the owner of Hatfield Grocery, a retired employee of the Kentucky State Highway Department, and a former foreman at Westinghouse in Mansfield, Ohio.
Hoover was preceded in death by his wife; Kathryn Hatfield who died in 1996, and a brother; Tommy Hatfield.

A Daughter Michelle and husband Doyle Napier of Fort Gay, W.Va
A Son Shannon and wife Joetta Hatfield of Fort Gay, W. Va.
Grandchildren Landon Hatfield, Shaylan Napier, and Shylah Napier all of Fort Gay, W. Va.
2 Sisters: Thelma Stanley of Ashland, Ky. and Geraldine Thompson of Mansfield, Ohio
Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus and Rev. Jerry Hughes will conduct funeral services on Wednesday March 5th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Fort Gay, West Virginia.
