George J. Derifield Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1915 - 2003 George Jefferson Derifield 87 of Clifford, Ky. passed away Thursday April 17, 2003 at Cabell Huntington Hospital following a brief illness. George was born November 25, 1915 in Clifford, Ky. the son of the late Millard and Helen Hammond Derifield. He was a retired Oil & Gas Driller, U.S. Army WWII Veteran, and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include: His Wife Gwendolyn Sammons Derifield of Clifford, Ky. A Daughter: Elizabeth Trautwein of Louisa, Ky. 2 Sons: Gary Derifield of Clifford, Ky. and Phillip (Becky) Derifield of Lexington, Ky. 2 Sisters: Elizabeth Ratcliffe of Clifford, Ky. and Mary Derifield of Covington, Georgia 5 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday April 19th at 11:00 am at Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Derifield Cemetery at Clifford, Ky. Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday April 18th at Wilson Funeral Home.
