Howard W. Thompson Sr. 79 of Aliquippa, Pa. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 9, 2003. Howard was born on May 16, 1924 at Norris, Kentucky the son of the late Robert and Isabelle Burton Thompson. He was a retired electrician for LVT Steel Company Aliquippa Works, also a member of the United Baptist Church at Charley, Kentucky, Odd Fellows #348 Ambridge Encampment #259 and Chandlersville F & AM #858.
Survivors include:
2 Daughters and Spouses: Linda and Gary White of Washington, Pa. And Lois and Dennis Baker of Brighton Twp.
2 Sons and Spouse: Howard Jr. and Debra Thompson of Hopewell Twp. And Robert C. Thompson of Hopewell Twp.
4 Sisters and Spouses: Goldie Lampert of Columbus, Ohio, Carrie and Gene Snyder of Ambridge, Pa., Hope and Wayne Moore of Pataskla, Ohio, Fannie and Melvin Haun of Alcoa, Tenn.
1 Brother: Grover J. Thompson of Charley, Ky.
4 Grandchildren: Ashley A. Thompson, Robert M. Thompson, Bryan Ewing, and Gavin White.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday July 15th at Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hayes Cemetery at Charley, Kentucky.
Masonic Rites will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Monday July 14th at the funeral home.
