PROCTOR RAMEY 85, of Route #1 Webbville, Ky. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 15, 2003.
Proctor was born May 12, 1918 at Blaine, Ky. the son of the late James Thaddus and Nancy Elizabeth Sparks Ramey.
He was a member of the Big Blaine United Baptist Church and a retired Kentucky Department of Highways employee. He was preceded in death by his wife: Hazel Marie Stewart Ramey who died on August 16, 1970.
Survivors include:
3 Daughters: Betty Riley of Greenup, Ky., Shirley (James) Slone and Nancy Mae (Bill) Griffith both of Webbville, Ky.
2 Sons: Homer (Virgie) Ramey and Freddie (Anna Faye) Ramey both of Webbville, Ky.
A Brother: James Ramey of Blaine, Ky.
11 Grandchildren & 16 Great Grandchildren.
Elders Clarence Mathis, Billy Howard, and Kenny Preece conducted funeral services on Friday July 18th at 11:00 am at the Big Blaine United Baptist Church. Burial was in the Sparks Cemetery at Blaine, Ky.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
