John Edd Salyers Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1912 - 2003 JOHN EDD SALYERS 91 of Louisa, Ky. Passed away Thursday August 28, 2003 at Prestonsburg Ky. John was born Jan. 7, 1912 at Johnson County Kentucky, the son of the late George and Mary Hettie (Dink) Thomas Salyers. He was retired from General Motors. Survivors include: 3 Daughters: Kay Benthin, Angela Salyers, Jonna Pearson 1 Sister: Hazel Williams 1 Brother: Tom Salyers 2 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday August 31st at 1:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home. Burial was in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, Ky. Friend may call after 9:00 am Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home.

I am very sorry to here of Mr. Salyers's passing. Although I did not know him personally, I am no doubt related to him distantly through my GG grandmother, Nancy Ann (Salyers) Miller, of Lawrence County, 1830-1914. I would very much like to get in touch with the family if they would be interested at some point. Thank you.
