Donald  Wells Sr.

Donald Wells Sr. 76 of Blaine/Louisa, Ky. formerly of Dehue, passed away Tuesday September 23, 2003 at his home.

Donald was born October 4, 1926 in Blaine, Ky. the son of the late Lonnie and Gracie Cooper Wells. He was a retired coal miner, member of the UMWA, and was a Christian for more than 40 years.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 55 years, Edith Pearl Wells

3 Sons: Donald (Kathy) Wells Jr. , Lonnie Wells both of Justice Addition Logan, W. Va. And Rick (Debbie) Wells of Chapmanville, W.Va.

2 Daughters: Edith (Larry) Jimison of Wilkinson, W. Va., and Janet (Danny) Richardson of Chauncey, W. Va.

14 Grandchildren: Kevin, Kristi, Michelle, Brandi, Larry, Jennifer, Ricky, Valerie, Jeremy, LaTosha, Amber, Ashley, April and Little Lonnie.

6 Great Grandchildren: Tyler, Jacob, Alexxa, Alivia, Katlynn, and Cody

A Sister: Opal Alexander of Cherokee, Ky.

3 Brothers: Leonard Wells of Ashland, Ky., Carson Wells and Robert Wells both of Blaine, Ky.

2 Sister-in-laws: Beatrice Wells of Blaine, Ky. and Betty Wells of Wilkinson, W. Va.

And numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday September 26th at 1:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Mike Roberts and Rev. Tony Roberts.

Entombment will be in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, Ky.

Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home.

The Wells Family: My heart is saddened by the passing of Donald. We will truly miss him at the annual Dehue Reunion, I know he enjoyed being together with all his friends and family there. We love all of you. God Bless. Donna (Porter) Burress
