William George Shannon 89 of Catlettsburg, Ky. formerly of Louisa passed away on Thursday Feb. 5, 2004 at the VA Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.
Bill was born June 14, 1914 in Louisa, Ky. the son of the late Charlie and Bird Roberts. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and US Army WWII Veteran.

Allegra Simpton, and Joanna Damron
A Brother: Bruce Shannon
Serveral Nieces and Nephews
He was preceded in death by his wife Clara Wellman Shannon
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 pm Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home by Dr. James A. Hayes.
Burial followed in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, Kentucky.
