Deloris Faye Hensley Graves 72 of Georges Creek went to be with the Lord Tuesday March 2, 2004 following an extended illness.
Faye was born April 14, 1931 in Lawrence County Ky. the daughter of the late Eugene and Leona Miller Hensley.
She married Lindsey Arch Graves on July 26, 1957. Her life was dedicated in love and devotion to her family. Her primary goal in life was to make her home a place of refuge from the world for her husband, children, and grandchildren.
On April 8, 1970 she gave her heart and life to the Lord and later joined the Belle's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church where she remained a faithful sister in Christ until the time of death. After her illness began in April 2003, she was unable to attend as she once had but her faith in God never waivered. Often during her final days she'd remind her children and grandchildren she'd wait for them in Heaven.
